But Carmen of course, did feel like giving back an answer, just to be her usual self. "I lived fine without you or bullet before I came here, and I can do it again if it was needed." She said angrily, standing herself up taller, "So if somthing should happen to you, I don't think we're really at much of a loss, eh?" She smirked back at Dianthe, living in her own twisted little world.

She had been expecting Carmen to answer her none the less as it had become much of a natural moment for them to spit insults back and forth. That just caused her to grow even more into it and double up before Carmen could. She had a way with insults and knew she had a sharp tongue that could eventually be her downfall but she did not mind. "Yes, but I doubt you would go on your own." No matter how fierce Carmen's reply would be, she could always see that hint of something else in her eyes. As though she could see the reason of her being in the ranks of this pack. "Oh, and I suppose your the most important thing in this pack? They wouldn't last that long with just you since we need multiple fighters unless you wish to get outnumbered one day...although that might be a good thing for everyone." Dianthe had soon become immune to the threats to her life that Carmen loved to throw at her. She knew very well that she was at least twice her size but height made no difference to her. It mattered on who wanted it more and she was not ever going to let this dame get the best of her. Petite, lithe ebony bodice grew closer to the form of Bullet with elegance as she still held a steady gaze on Carmen. "So, we're we going?"

"Bye guys, have a fun time!" Spriffy called out to them as she stood and walked over to her tree, to get some sleep. It was more comfy over there. But the one thing that she really did want was her own pillow. She had one when she was a puppydog, when she was very young, she always laid on this BIG lavender colored pillow. It was lovely, she only wished she had one again.

Bullet rolled his eyes, a small growl in his voice when he spoke. "Cut it out you two" he murmured before starting off. But, suddenly he stopped, turning back to look at Dianthe and Carmen. "Would you two prefer a hunt, or a scavenging in the alleyways?"

As soon as Bullet and the girls were out of sight, Spriffy got low to the ground and began to crawl away, once she was out of site she went running towards the pier.

"I'd like to hunt." Carmen said, ignoring Dianthe. "It's much more wild-dog like, you know. Scavenging if for strays." She gave a sniff, as if she were better then them, with her nose in the air a little bit. "Those strays are pathetic.." She added, almost in a growl. She though did remember that she was once a stray, and so was her mother, sisters and brothers. But she was the only one now, and she had another stray to thank for that.

"We both may have been strays once, but we were smart enough to give such a life up." She growled, glaring at the ground. "They hardly hunt, only when there is nothing to scavenge to they try to get their own food." She shook her head, as if she were disgusted by the thought.

Dianthe scoffed at the words coming from Carmen's mouth which almost made her want to beat the dame. 'She was once a stray as well!' Her angered thoughts flared at the sight of the dame sticking her nose in the air as if she was better than the rest of them. 'Don't worry, one day you'll get yours.' It might have now been more clear why this naturally sweet dame loathed this Shepherd with such a vengeance. She was downright arrogant and had no respect for anyone! Ebony auds lowered down to touch her skull as a light growl started within her throat. She stood back though, the words coming from Bullet said enough for the both of them, for now. Ebony bodice continued to stand near Bullet's larger frame as she awaited a command to move out. She may have a mouth that got her in to trouble but she knew very well when to keep it shut.

She could no longer handle it as the last few words left Carmen's mouth and she showed an expression of disgust for what they all had once been. A growl was ripped from her throat as she dared not leave Bullet's side at the though of him rejecting such actions. "As if you're any better, Carmen. You say this now when you're in the protection of a pack willing to help you. You can not take a large kill down by yourself so you would be scavenging the streets as well." The word scavenging was said with much more venom than the others. Every muscle within her petite bodice tightened at the thought of striking the arrogant dame at that very moment. It would serve her well if someone taught her respect and some less selfish standards.

Feathery banner swayed madly behind it's owner as she seethed with blind rage. "Show some respect for what you once were and what others still are. Those strays are what will soon make our pack grow larger so don't spit out their names as if they would disgrace us." Her words were no longer teasing but serious and a lot more thought out. She continued to stay by the side of Bullet as she had yet to see a sign of disapproval. By all means, she was surprised he hadn't blew up by now. Crania turned to look at Bullet as though asking if they were still going hunting or if it had been called off. She just hoped nothing else was released from the arrogant mouth of the Shepherd dame.

Carmen tilted her head away from Dianthe, deciding to take on a much more calm, but more annoying air. She spoke to the other female as if she were a pup, who had forgotten something obvious. "I do not deny that I was once a stray myself, Dianthe. I do not deny that I once scavenged for all of my meals. I do not deny that I was born a stray to a stry mother and father. But I'm no stray now, and I have my reasons to hate strays." Her last sentance had lost all it's calmness and came out in a snarl of pain, as if something had bit her. She didn't want to think about that. She didn't want to talk about. It had just slipped out, and now she was blinking back tears of fury.

Bullet snarled. "Enough, from the both of you. Carmen, if you don't deny it then don't stick your nose in the air as if you are of more importance then the rest of us. Dianthe, you have a point, but now let's leave this where it lies. Come, hunting, move out" he snarled, the stalked off with anger pulsing from him like rays from the summer sun.
